SculptureWalk Announces 2026 Best of Show Winner
SculptureWalk Sioux Falls is proud to announce “Exquisite Trio” by Alicia Jones as the 2026 Best of Show winner.
Each year, the Best of Show award recognizes one sculpture for its exceptional artistic merit, creativity and overall contribution to the annual exhibit. The winning sculpture is purchased by the City of Sioux Falls and becomes part of the city’s permanent public art collection.
Created in bronze, “Exquisite Trio” features three woodland animals gathered in a playful composition. Jones is a contemporary artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, whose work is inspired by the natural world and her experiences living throughout the Southwest. “I am thrilled to receive the Best of Show award from SculptureWalk Sioux Falls,” said artist Alicia Jones. “It is a tremendous honor to be represented alongside the other incredible sculptors participating in the exhibition and to have my work recognized in this way. I am especially proud to win with ‘Exquisite Trio’ because this piece has been a long time in the making.”
“Exquisite Trio” is currently displayed outside Marie & Marie Bridal in downtown Sioux Falls and will remain in place through spring 2027. The City of Sioux Falls Visual Arts Commission will then work with the city to select a permanent location for the sculpture within the community.

Through our partnership with SculptureWalk, we continue to make exceptional art accessible to residents and visitors while strengthening Sioux Falls as a destination for public art.”
The sculpture is one of 80 original works featured in the 2026 SculptureWalk exhibit throughout downtown Sioux Falls.
