These grizzlies have been feasting on the salmon run up the McNeil River in Alaska, and are resting before feeding again. Often one can observe these bears catching the salmon when they are swimming up stream for spawning.

Award-winning sculptor/painter, Delmar Pettigrew's works can be found in collections as far away as Kuwait, and as close as the cities of Green River and Gillette in Wyoming. He also credits his wife, acclaimed sculptor Martha Pettigrew, for her insightful critiques. His work has been accepted in the prestigious Art of the Animal Kingdom X &amp, XIII, Bennington Center for the Arts, Bennington, Vermont, O.V.A.L.
