My Orange Steel series is inspired by an exhibition of David Smith’ s figurative totems that I saw at the Whitney Museum, and is also inspired by architecture I see in New York City on a daily basis.

Dana B. Parlier

Parlier is a classically trained master artist who earned his BFA from the Virginia Commonwealth University and his MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He is currently a professor at the Educational Alliance Art School in New York. His work is represented by Figureworks Gallery in New York and Wohlfarth Galeeries in Washington DC and Provincetown, MA.
